I.V. tracks shall be of 16 gauge extruded aluminum, anodized finish and entirely enclosed except for slot in bottom. IV carriers (one per track) shall consist of plated steel block supported from four nonconductive nylon ball-bearing wheels and equipped with 180 degree twist lock with nylon washer. "Ram's horn" loop shall be provided for attaching pendant to carrier. One end of each track shall be fitted with a removable end stop, or track shall be equipped with splicing clamps with removable gate to permit carrier replacement. Adjustable pendant shall be fabricated of 3/8 inch dia. Chrome-plated steel with four 5/16 inch dia. "Ram's horn" arms and a fifth hook at the bottom.
